Colorado’s Republican delegation signed onto a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi calling for a congressional investigation into the origins of COVID-19 to determine if it originated as a lab leak at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

“After more than a year of inaction in light of mounting evidence against the (Chinese Communist Party), it raises serious questions as to why House Democrats continue to cover for the CCP’s lies and obfuscation,” they wrote.

More than 200 Republicans signed the letter Friday to Pelosi.

The demand comes as new information strongly suggests the virus was not caused when someone ate some sort of bat burrito from a wet market next to the lab that studies the COVID virus, as “science,” the media, and social media have insisted for more than a year.

Biden admitted this week a lab leak was a just as likely a scenario, and instructed U.S. intelligence officials to get going and collect some information and report back in 90 days what the Chinese Communist Party they think happened.

China’s questionable excuses for the virus, including unproven theories it was brought into China through imported frozen seafood, were again called into question this week when the Wall Street Journal reported several lab workers became severely ill with COVID-19 as early as November 2019.

China has already responded they will not participate or support any further investigation by the World Health Organization into COVID-19 origins.
