U.S. Sen. John Hickenlooper spent the congressional work period last week bar hopping through Front Range restaurants and reminiscing about that time he voted months ago to spend taxpayer dollars to cover for Gov. Polis’s business shutdowns.

It’s a nice job if you can get it.

Dropping in on restaurants and bars to drink beer and take credit for their hard work to stay in business, then expense it all to taxpayers.

Restaurants and bars were hit extra hard during the Polis shutdown, but other businesses across the state were also economically damaged.

They just don’t serve beer, and Hickenlooper has clearly set his priorities for how he will spend his work periods back home in Colorado.

Una cerveza por favor!

Cheers!

Una cerveza más!
