The Denver Post, that bulwark of scientific principles, is using the phrase “pregnant people” in their allegedly unbiased coverage of the Democrat Party’s pursuit of codifying into law the right to abort baby people.
Since President Biden and Gov. Polis were elected, the Democrat Party’s rhetoric about the ability of a female and her ovaries to produce eggs that attach to her uterus to become a viable pregnancy has become gender confused.
So it was only a matter of time before the whack woke media began to abuse the English language to appease its progressive readers who also live in this parallel reality.
We saw it pop up in Denver Post coverage from July last year:
A new law signed by Gov. Jared Polis this month, SB21-193, would add protections for jailed and imprisoned people who are pregnant and postpartum, including a requirement to create opportunities for women to maintain contact with newborn children and receive breastfeeding support.
And again over the weekend when Colorado Republicans held off an abortion bill for a record 23-hour filibuster in the Democrat-controlled legislature.

There is no apparent compromise here. The Democrats believe fundamentally that pregnant people should have the autonomy to access safe, legal abortion. Being in the majority, they don’t have to budge at all, and they don’t plan to.
The outcome of this legislation is not in question. Democrats hold a 41-24 majority in the House and will pass this bill. They took a voice vote Saturday morning to advance it, and the House speaker said a final chamber vote is expected next week. At that point the bill will be kicked over to the Senate, which Democrats also control.
The Reproductive Health Equity Act “declares that every individual has a fundamental right to use or refuse contraception; every pregnant individual has a fundamental right to continue the pregnancy and give birth or to have an abortion; and a fertilized egg, embryo, or fetus does not have independent or derivative rights under the laws of the state.”
Under progressives, new laws won’t even recognize that only females can get pregnant or undergo an abortion, because it triggers men all the other genders who weren’t born with the necessary plumbing to be a female.
