Americans have long since returned to work since the pandemic struck two years ago, but the Washington offices of many congressional Democrats remain closed including that of Colorado U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet, reports the Washington Free Beacon.

Less than a week after President Joe Biden in his State of the Union address called for Americans to return to the office after two years of COVID-19 restrictions, numerous Democratic offices in both the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives have failed to end their work-from-home policies.

The lights were out and Colorado U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet’s office was closed to the public.

Oh but look, thank God the senators’ gym is open!

There was no mention whether the office of Colorado’s other U.S. Senator was open. Although it’s clear they seem to have plenty of free time on their hands.
