U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet marked the 12th anniversary of Obamacare this week by acknowledging the Orwellian-named “Affordable Care Act” has never been affordable.
12 years ago, the #AffordableCareAct was signed into law. It dramatically improved health care in America and saved lives. #ThxACA
It’s time to build on our progress by passing a public option to reduce health care costs and achieve universal coverage.

In order to make it affordable, Bennet now wants Americans to pay more in taxes so we lose our private doctors altogether and wait in line for years for government health care.
Pres. Obama signed the Affordable Care Act into law 12 years ago today, but healthcare costs are still too high. That’s why I banned surprise emergency medical bills and am working to lower the cost of insulin to $35.

Actually, the No Surprise Act was passed during the Trump administration, and Bennet was not a cosponsor.
So, it’s really a stretch for Bennet to take credit for banning the practice of charging patients more for out-of-network emergency doctors and ambulances.
What Coloradans can’t afford, is universal, socialist health care run by the government with the same efficiency it runs the Post Office and every other federal agency.
