Denver is officially beyond decay.
The city is so far down the shitter, a council candidate has dropped out of the June 6 runoff election because he doesn’t want to raise his child in Denver.
Nick Campion announced his withdraw Tuesday, which makes Flor Alvidrez is the de facto winner to take on the troubles of crime, homelessness, more crime and the high costs of living as the next Denver city council person for District 7.
Campion announced in his written statement that he just found out he was going to become a father soon.
But in his video, he further explained his goal was to get the Hell out of Denver.
“Right now, me and my partner felt it was best to move outside of Denver to raise a child,” Campion said with a slight cringe.
