Senate Republicans forced a vote for $14.3 billion in aid to Israel and to replenish U.S. weapons and munitions stocks already sent to the Jewish state but were blocked by Democrats and a veto threat from President Biden.

Democrats voted to table the measure 51-48 on Tuesday, with Colorado U.S. Sens. Michael Bennet and John Hickenlooper voting against the funding.

Democrats complained the bill didn’t include more money to go to Gaza and Ukraine, yet also fussed that the funding came from cuts to the IRS.

PeakNation™ will recall Democrats criticized House Republicans as they scrambled to reorganize their leadership last month and said the process threatened to slow much needed aid to Israel.

The House passed this funding measure on Nov. 2 and sent it to the Senate where (checks notes) Democrats swiftly killed it.

Shame on Bennet, who claims Christian and Jewish roots, and Hickenlooper, for playing party politics with this critical funding.
