Wolves released by Gov. Polis are on a killing spree in the high country and have ranchers pleading for government officials to do their freaking job and put down the chronically depredating predators.
They can’t get to it just yet, because bureaucrats are still squabbling over the regulation to use lethal force and haven’t hammered out the definition for “chronic” depredation, reports the Denver Gazette.
It was tax week, so Polis also had his hands full raking in all our tax dollars.
Today is Tax day. Do you need a treat after getting your taxes filed? Today Kona Ice is offering free shaved ice for “Chill Out Day”. With summer just around the corner, this is a refreshing treat!

Four of the yearlings this week were killed on the same ranch in Grand County.
PeakNation™ will recall Grand County is where Polis helped release the apex predators just before Christmas.
Ironically, both of Colorado’s Democrat U.S. senators meet this week with ranchers and bragged about it on social media.
Neither bothered to acknowledge the recent attacks.

The replies to the politicians’ posts sum up the feelings of many in the high country.
Also, you could stop importing apex predators that kill their livestock and dogs. https://t.co/qcAjm4kIXx

They should be ashamed of themselves, but they’re not.
