Colorado is making national headlines again for problems caused by sanctuary city policies Democrats have imposed in Denver and through a statewide law limiting federal immigration enforcement.

Castle Rock has voted to pursue a lawsuit against Denver for problems caused by its Sanctuary City welcome wagon.

Expressing an interest in joining them are Douglas County plus the cities of Aurora and Parker, Councilman Max Brooks told Denver CBS News.

These actions are in addition to a lawsuit filed this year against Gov. Polis and the state challenging a 2019 law passed by the Democrat controlled legislature banning local law enforcement from cooperating with immigration officials.

That lawsuit was brought by Douglas, El Paso, Elbert, Garfield, Mesa and Rio Blanco Counties.

Which brings us to the New York Post report in its Sunday edition:

Fed-up suburbs look to sue Denver after sanctuary city welcomed 42,000 migrants — and the gang Tren de Aragua — to Colorado

We expect Kyle Clark over at 9New is flaming out over the latest national headline and desperately trying to debunk the news he refuses to report for fear it would lead anyone to question Democrat’s support of open borders and mass migration policies.

Instead, he and his progressive ilk will report how racist Coloradans are for pointing out problems caused by unchecked migration.

For real reporting on how mass migration in Colorado is being subsidized by taxpayers, we call PeakNation’s attention to real investigative reporting by City Journal — a publication of the free market think tank Manhattan Institute for Policy Research.
