Buried beneath the recent headlines that inflation has slowed in the Denver area is the brutal truth that our groceries, housing, and all our other sh*t still costs too much money.
Inflation hiked prices yet another another 1.4% in the last year on the already inflated costs of meat, clothing, and gas, reports the Colorado Sun.
But hey, hotel prices were lower, and that’s good news for taxpayers who also have to foot the bill to house the homeless and Kamala’s border busting migrants.
The Sun turned to the conservative Common Sense Institute to make sense of the news:
“Price growth slowing in Colorado is a welcome sign, but bottom line is that relative to incomes, prices remain much higher than they have been for the last two decades,” Kelly Caufield, CSI’s executive director, said in an email.
We’re now paying an additional $16,000 a year just to cover continuing inflation costs on the same consumer goods and services we did four years ago, the Sun reports.
Kamalaflation and Bidenonomics that blow the roof off government spending in the trillions every year has inflated our economy to the breaking point for so many Colorado families.
That’s because Democrats don’t know how to grow a healthy economy, only how to spend us all into the poor house.
