President-elect Trump signaled his commitment to restore the nation’s affordable and reliable energy security in choosing Chris Wright, the CEO of Denver-based Liberty Energy, to be his energy secretary.
Wright is a tech nerd turned entrepreneur who says he is dedicated to improving the human existence by expanding access to abundant, affordable, and reliable energy.
I am honored and grateful for the opportunity from @realDonaldTrump to serve our country as U.S. Secretary of Energy. My dedication to bettering human lives remains steadfast, with a focus on making American energy more affordable, reliable, and secure. Energy is the lifeblood… pic.twitter.com/IfjMQw9xKi

Wright is best known for his innovations that helped boosted commercial shale gas production that launched an industry in hydraulic fracture mapping.
By taking the lead at the U.S. Energy Department, Wright is expected to redirect the Biden administration’s goal of bankrupting fossil fuel production.
America is fortunate to have someone as smart & thoughtful as Chris Wright leading our energy strategy. His strategic approach to complex challenges will be invaluable to our nation. His success in advancing clean, affordable, & reliable energy solutions is what we need. Congrats!

The agency is responsible for advancing energy technology, securing the nuclear arsenal and disposal of nuclear waste.
Yet Biden used the bureaucracy to redirect our energy supply to solar panels that would litter 700,000 acres by 2035, and the use of wind turbines — more than a million of which would be needed to power the U.S.
Job one for Wright is to liberate the natural gas industry and lift Biden’s defacto ban on new liquified natural gas (LNG) terminals.
Chris Wright’s experience in the American energy sector gives him an important perspective that will inform his leadership of the Department of @Energy. We look forward to working with him once confirmed to bolster American geopolitical strength by lifting DOE’s pause on #LNG… https://t.co/H6pXK4FFYl

The New York Times snubbed Wright for lacking experience as an entrenched government bureaucrat and was instead critical of his real-world experience in the energy industry, from oil and gas to nuclear, geothermal and solar.
We expect the left and their Democrat minions who proliferate Big Environment will oppose Wright and try to smear his character as the next — whatever the ecological equivalent of Hitler is.
According to his bio, Wright is a passionate father, grandfather, skier, cyclist, climber, and outdoor enthusiast.
And that sure sounds like someone who treasurers a clean environment.
Media faux pas: headline after headline attempts to frame @ChrisAWright_ as an extremist climate denier.
Ironically, these hits all use photos of him speaking at @ACC_National’s Summit, where he stated quite plainly, “I’ve been a lifelong environmentalist. Climate change is a… pic.twitter.com/GdpdlmrI01
