Among the many leftist dignitaries lining up to kiss Donald Trump’s big, beautiful ring at today’s presidential inauguration is none other than Colorado Gov. Jared Polis.

Polis is spinning his attendance as required, because he’s the chairman of the National Governors Association and the other governors apparently don’t know how to travel on their own to important events without Polis leading them by the nose.
Here’s Polis’s statement on bending the knee:
“As Chair of the National Governors Association, I’m leading a national bipartisan group of America’s governors to attend the Presidential inauguration. The relationship between states and the federal government is critical to getting things done and delivering for Americans, and I look forward to making sure that the voice of the Governors and the states is heard in Washington D.C.”
If Polis is only there on behalf of the National Governors Association and not specifically for the benefit of Colorado, we would hope our enterprising media watchdogs would make sure that Colorado taxpayers are not footing the bill for Polis to party with the new oligarchy.
