Or, at least, that’s what we can infer from his latest announcement that scandal plagued President Obama would visit Colorado to fundraise for the embattled (but, not old, for the love of God!) Senator Mark Udall.
The Denver Post’s Lynn Bartels broke the story with (some) details about the event:
The president is the invited guest at a luncheon for the 2014 Colorado Victory Fund, a joint fundraising effort between the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and Udall for Colorado. Colorado’s other U.S. senator, Democrat Michael Bennet, is chairman of the DSCC and is on the invite.
Missing from the invite is the cost to attend, which we assume is considerable.
Udall famously fumbled while trying to punt on the question of whether he would like President Obama to come to Colorado to help him fundraise. What’s the problem? Obama’s popularity in Colorado has…waned since his election. According to the New Republic:
In Colorado, Obama’s approval is at 38 percent, Obamacare’s at 39 percent, and 73 percent think the shape of the national economy is either “not so good” or “poor.”
Those numbers don’t even ask about all the scandals that have ensnared Obama as of late. So, we can’t help but scratch our heads at Udall’s sudden embrace of this President.
Margaux Milchen He only has two that I have posted. Guess it's okay for Udall trolls to do the same thing to Cory Gardner's fb pages.
He is a right wing extremist. Colorado I'd a beautiful liberal blue
No dorothy..you need to go. You troll all of his pages.
Attacks Ads on TV
I have seen ads on TV containing false and reckless information about Cory Gardner the ads are dishonest and untruthful. Cory did not vote for Obama Care, Udall did and said he would do it again.
Attacks Ads from Political Parties and Politicians is why People have little faith in politicians and are sick of negative campaigning because of untrue, dishonest ads like those on TV.
We the People of Colorado deserve honest and respectful election campaigns. They deserve candidates who are honest, truthful, and demonstrate integrity, unlike candidates who videotape their opponents, using sound bites and video clips out of context or just say something that just is not true. Cory will not participate in such negative campaigning. If Senator Udall needs to do this, then I ask you, “Who do you want to represent you?” Do you want somebody who is willing to misrepresent another candidate, in order to get your vote? Could they also misrepresent you in the US Senate? So I say to Colorado do not believe the negative TV ads. AND vote Cory Gardner come November
Cory Gardner is an outstanding candidate and I believe he will beat Udall in November . Please give him your consideration.
Yes, Udall NEEDS to go, he has accomplihsed nothing in the 16 years he's been in Congress.
Udall needs to go…..will the GOP field somebody who can topple him?
How's Gardner taking his best pal's Cantor's stunning defeat?
