As of this morning, 408,841 ballots have been cast in the primary, according to the Secretary of State’s office. The next turnout report will be on Monday morning. Here’s the statewide breakdown by party:
Democrats: 166,360
Republicans: 238,906
As we noted on Wednesday’s report, the total ballots cast for the 2010 primary election numbered 774,071.
Here are the returns county by county:
With no choices on the 'ballot,' why would Dems bother? There are no 'choices' on the Dem 'ballot.' (I hesitate to call it a 'ballot' since that would imply people were 'voting' with it. Can't really 'vote' if there are no choices. Only one candidate for each position – more like Cuba than Colorado, really.
My question would be, why did so many bother returning the piece of paper with the word 'ballot' printed on it? It isn't like they are participating in a democratic process. The decision was already made for them before the primary. Waste of time really to even have a primary when the party has already made the decision for their sheep.
WOW! looks like the republicans woke up!! Dems should be ashamed- Doesn't look like they even sent in ballots. Lets get America Back On Track!
