Colorado Democrats better hope Michael Bloomberg isn’t reading their press releases these days. 
Last week, the Senate Dems tried to attack the GOP for being anti-gun since they wouldn’t funnel more money into the bloated bureaucracy that is the Colorado Bureau of Investigation. Now, Democrats in the House are trying to do the exact same thing, and they apparently think that Rep. Lois Court (D-Denver) is a credible messenger. This is the same Lois Court who in 2013 sponsored a bill that requires gun purchasers to pay for their own backgrounds checks. She is not pro-gun and neither is her caucus and they ain’t fooling anyone.
If they think grandstanding on an issue they have no credibility on whatsoever is a winning strategy, then we say bring it.
