Early on Sunday morning, a perpetrator, who shall not be named because he doesn’t deserve publicity, attacked a gay nightclub in Orlando, killing at least 50 and injuring another 53. This was a terrible loss of life and our hearts, prayers, and sympathies go out to the victims and their loved ones.
On Sunday night, Coloradans gathered at Tracks nightclub to hold a vigil for the victims. Included in that group were some of our own GOP legislators. Here are a few tweets from the event that show the unity in the room. Regardless of where you fall on social issues or gun control or any of these things, loss of life like this is reprehensible and traumatic.
