For anyone watching the news last night, the pictures from Frankenstorm Hurricane Superstorm Sandy were simply awe-inspiring, and not in a good way. Last night, the country watched as New York City and cities up and down the eastern seaboard were swallowed by Sandy. For those with a hankering for news, the police and fire scanners also allowed listeners to hear how emergency crews could not get to folks trapped by the storm. In short, this was ugly.
Colorado’s thoughts and prayers are with those affected by this storm and the subsequent flooding. Please consider donating financially to the Red Cross at www.redcross.org. Additionally, the Red Cross is looking for donations of blood and plasma. Please visit www.redcrossblood.org to learn more about donating blood to the Red Cross.
