U.S. Rep. Ed Perlmutter has named his successor to the 7th district throne, effectively ending any hopes of an actual Democrat primary election to fill the seat he’s vacating at the end of the year.
I’m honored to have the trust, support, and endorsement of my mentor and friend, @Ed4Colorado. Thank you for all you’ve done for our community for the last several decades, and I promise to do my best to fill your very, very large shoes #copolitics #CO07 pic.twitter.com/geTRHJgSfJ

Instead of thinking for themselves and examining whether she’s qualified or represents their values, hordes of Democrats will march mindlessly in lockstep with their lame duck leader to back Brittany.
Perlmutter says Brittany understands Coloradans’ struggles.
Does that mean she’ll just rubber stamp Biden’s trillions in spending, or ask to see where all that money is going and whether it really helps alleviate our struggles?
Is she qualified to make decisions on vastly different paths to avert war between Russia and Ukraine?
Can she even find Ukraine on a map?
It doesn’t matter, because Perlmutter says she’s a tough campaigner.
Now that Democrats have appointed their candidate without a single vote cast, it’s time for Republican who are wavering on whether to run to make a decision and let’s get this show on the road.
