Mark your calendars for Auon’tai “Tay” Anderson month at a Denver Public Library that is hosting an exhibition throughout November to celebrate the one-term school board member’s lifetime achievement of biggest, ego, ever.
Seriously. The cojones on this dude.

“I’m honored to have the Blair-Caldwell African American Research Library open an exhibit on my life from birth throughout my term on the Denver School Board.”
Anderson just turned 25 a couple of months ago and only served one term, so there’s not much of a lifetime of work to exhibit.
Except maybe this.

Anderson might also offer a peek behind his overspending of taxpayer dollars for a new job he just made up for himself, “global ambassador.”
From the Denver Post this week:
Anderson, the board’s vice president, spent more than $13,680 on travel to and from conferences, including gatherings held by the National School Boards Association in Orlando, Florida, the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials in New York City, and the Netroots Nation conference for progressive activists in Chicago.
“I’m grateful I’m able to travel across the country to be a global ambassador for this district,” Anderson said.
With his job approval rating at a single digit, Anderson is thankfully bailing on the troubled Denver school board and instead seeking election as the global ambassador and troublemaker for the District 8 state House seat, soon-to-be-vacated by Leslie Herod.
