Republican candidates running for office in the last four years have faced the same litmus test questions from the Colorado media in every interview: do you agree with what Trump did on any given day, especially Jan. 6?

It’s as predictable as snow in winter and the brown cloud in summer.

But that all changed after President Biden was elected and his mental decline accelerated, resulting in regular embarrassing slips on the national and world stage.

Now it was Democrats’ turn to face pointed questions about Biden’s embarrassing behavior as our economy tanked and our foreign enemies grew more emboldened.

Ha! That never happened.

And neither did Colorado reporters insist that unwilling Democrat candidates go on the record about Biden’s performance in the debate.

U.S. Rep. Yadira Caraveo was never pressed in an interview about Biden’s decline, or Kamala Harris’s abysmal record on the border when he was replaced as the Democrat’s unelected nominee.

Reporters were too focused on tagging Caraveo’s Republican opponent, Gabe Evans, with whatever exaggerated nasty thing the national media was saying about Trump that week.

The double standard has never been more evident since Biden was robbed of his 14 million primary votes and forced out of the race by his own party to be replaced by his air-headed vice president.

She’s an even worse candidate than Biden, with a dismal record and penchant for blabbering nonsense.

And yet the Colorado media never peppers Democrats running for office this cycle what they think about her stance on fracking — she was against it before she was running for president and now, she’s for it.

They were too busy making excuses for her on border issues, and parroting lefty talking points that she can’t be held responsible because “Border Czar” was just a nickname for her official duty of leading diplomatic efforts to reduce poverty, violence and corruption in Central America’s Northern Triangle countries to stem the flow of migrant parades to the border.

According to our source, Mr. Google, the only question Aspen Democrat Adam Frisch has been asked about Kamala Harris this entire race came from Colorado Public Radio.

They asked “is Kamala Harris a pro-normal candidate?”

Comparatively, public radio asked Jeff Hurd, the Republican candidate running for the 3rd Congressional District, six nasty questions about Trump in their profile, some of which were based-on misinformation.

And speaking of misinformation, the media also let Trisha Calvarese off easy in her one and only debate in the 4th District Congressional race with Lauren Boebert in asking if she agreed with Kamala Harris’s plan to end taxes on tips.

PeakNation™ will recall it was Trump who proposed that policy weeks before Harris parroted his plan.

The only GOP congressionalcandidate who’s gotten a pass on tricky Trump questions is 1st District candidate Valdamar Archuleta who is taking on Congresswoman-for-life Diana DeGette.

But his profile picture featured him at a Trump rally.

Archuleta is gay and president of the Colorado Log Cabin Republicans. The media are instead hammering him about state GOP chair Dave Williams.

As for DeGette, she endorsed Harris and the media champion both for their pro-life positions.

They wouldn’t dare link DeGette with Kamala Harris’s abysmal record.
