Gov. Hickenlooper withdrew himself as a running mate with Hillary Clinton this week after sounding the death knell for her campaign.
Speaking at the FRED Leadership Forum yesterday, an audience member asked Hick if he would run for president, reports the Denver Post.
It doesn’t appear that he answered the question directly – shock — as to whether he would throw his own dented cowboy hat into the ring. Instead, he delivered a eulogy for Hillary’s campaign describing it as “kind of grim, to be blunt.”
“But,” he added quickly, “I don’t know where this whole thing is going to go in terms of her … (e-mail) server and whether there is something in there that is really going to turn out to have broken the law — which I think would be the death knell.”
Oh, there’s definitely some there, there, when it comes to Hillary’s servergate scandal, which has been blamed for her continued drop in polls.
Hick can already hear the cuing of the bells.
