Former Aurora City Councilman Ryan Frazier has thrown his hat into the U.S. Senate ring for a chance to unseat current Democratic U.S. Senator Michael Bennet. Below is his video re-introducing himself to Colorado.

In addition to being a former City Councilman, Frazier is the son of a single mom, a small business owner, a veteran, and the founder of a charter school. We’re going to go out on a limb here and say that he has a greater understanding of what average Coloradans struggle with, than, say the son of embassy staff who attended Yale (we’re looking at you, Senator).

Frazier joins El Paso County Commissioners Darryl Glenn and Peggy Littleton (maybe), state Sen. Tim Neville, former SBAer Greg Lopez, and Colorado Springs businessman Robert Blaha. Rumor has it that Rep. Jon Keyser, a veteran and lawyer, also may be eyeing the seat. Nonetheless, Republicans now have recruited two black guys, one Hispanic, a woman (maybe), and a fresh face (maybe). There’s a lot of talent from which to choose if you’re a Republican.
