All the buzz in conservative circles for the last 24 hours has been about Dick Wadhams' decision to run for another term as GOP party chair.
Wadhams, like every other party chair since the beginning of time, has had his ups and downs. He has more than his share of high profile supporters, but also has more than a few thoughtful adversaries.
Whatever you think of Wadhams, he is indisputably an old hand at the business of party politics, and we don't think he would seek the post if his re-election were anything but a fait accompli.
There’s no reason to whack wadhams. He’s the right guy for the job. Name one thing he did wrong beside abide by the party bylaws!
and I’ll say it again. It’s time to give someone else a shot.
if I completely agree with this assessment. There are a lot of people angry with Wadhams. It may not be as set in stone as it appears.
It appears that Wadhams is smarter than Michael Steele. It makes sense that he’d wait to see how he’d fare before making a decision on running again. Since he’s decided to go for it, he must be confident in his re-election.
I may not agree with everything Wadhams has done, but I have no issue with him running again. In my opinion, he’s better than anyone else whose names have been bouncing around.
