While it's no simple task defeating an incumbent President, it's looking like it will be easier by the day. Two days ago it was Obama holding a press conference to respond to Donald Trump and now it's word that Obama's approval ratings are at a bargain basement low

With the economic recovery slowing from a creep to a crawl and gas prices higher than Charlie Sheen in his webcam broadcast, Americans are not pleased with the Economist-in-Chief.

President Barack Obama’s weekly approval rating remained at its all-time low for the second straight week, according to the Gallup poll.

In the week of April 11-17 and again in the week of April 18-24, 43 percent of the Americans polled by Gallup said they approved of the job Obama was doing as president.

That matched the all-time low for Obama’s weekly approval in the Gallup poll. Previously, Obama had earned a 43 percent approval rating in the back-to-back weeks of Aug. 16-22, 2010 and Aug. 23-29, 2010.

Not only is his approval dropping nationally, but he is losing ground in every age group and geographic area. That's what happens when you rack up obscene debt on the nation's credit card and, as Colorado's US Senator Michael Bennet said, "have nothing to show for it."
