This afternoon Americans for Prosperity Colorado flipped the Occupy movement's script and held their own occupation protest of the Environmental Protection Agency's mining conference to draw attention to the federal bureaucracy's job killing policies.
As Congressman Cory Gardner so effectively exposed in a House Committee hearing last year, EPA bureaucrats develop regulations without a single thought about the effect those regulations might have on employment.
Attendees of the "Occupation" estimated about 50 people turned up to honk and wave, not a bad turnout for a Wednesday afternoon in April.
Kelly Maher sends along a quick video recap of the event:
As Congressman Gardner’s efforts have proven, a little thrashing of the EPA can pay off big time.
