A loyal member of the PeakNation™ sent us this photo from his or her local Colorado grocery store.  Last year, Hostess went out of business due to union demands, taking its popular brand of treat off grocery store shelves.  Less than a year later, Hostess is back and it can barely keep up with demand. You see, when markets are unhampered by union thug demands, markets work efficiently.  We can only imagine what would have happened to Detroit, whose post-apocalyptic pictures we’ve all seen floating on the internet, if it had been able to shake its union shackles.

By the way, if you have Twinkies in your neck of the woods, let us know.  We’re dying for a Twinkie to show our support for the newly-free endeavor.
