Denver Mayor Michael Hancock has long lived under the shadow of his predecessor, John Hickenlooper. And today his predecessor’s words will continue to haunt him.
In a newly released video, Revealing Politics uses an old Hickenlooper commercial during his mayoral run, where he decries Denver nickel and diming its residents, to put pressure on Mayor Hancock to take a position on the controversial bag fee tax before the Denver City Council.
The ad helped launch Hickenlooper into City Hall, but Revealing Politics is hoping this time it’ll help get some information out of City Hall.
It does indeed make a difference. To future generations that will have to shuffle that un-biodegradable pile of bags around, and the other animals that choke on them.
DOES IT REALLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE AS TO WHAT BAG I PLACED MY TRASH… AFTER LOOKING AT THE EVIDENCE, IT COMES TO JUST ANOTHER LEVY OR TAX.
