This morning, The Denver Post released a bombshell – the Colorado Division of Insurance isn’t tracking premium changes to those whose health insurance plans had been canceled due to Obamacare and Sen. Mark Udall’s vote for Obamacare.  The story talked to a Pueblo resident, Julie Dagnillo, who said that her plan increased slightly this year, but she was in for a huge increase next year:

“The premium is about $10 more a month, but it is good only through the end of 2014. After that, Lucy’s options include shopping for coverage on the exchange, where she may qualify for a subsidy, or taking an Anthem plan that would cost at least $110 more a month.”

But, perhaps what’s worse than this woman being a victim of Obamacare’s rate spikes, is that Democratic strategist Laura Chapin, who is paid to promote Obamacare and the local exchange, is denying that this woman’s challenges are real. In other words, she’s pulling a Sen. Harry Reid, who said last month that the Obamacare horror stories aren’t true.  Here’s just an example:

So, are we understanding you, Ms. Chapin, correctly that only folks who aren’t registered Republicans are allowed to be impacted by Obamacare’s out of control cancellations and rate increases?  Or, are you saying that people who exercise their right to vote – ERMAGAD – by voting in a recall election – can’t be negatively impacted by Obamacare?  How much do you get paid to re-victimize victims?

The truth is that people from all walks of life are being devastated by Obamacare…

“I’m completely outraged,” said Dagnillo, a Pueblo resident. “We’re the ones suffering the brunt for the entire nation. They’re going to put us into poverty.”

…and all the left can do is blame the victim.
