Well….what he meant to say is: "If you like your plan and your doctors, you can keep your plan and doctors ~ you'll just have to pay thru the freaking nose to do that!!" I've been on the SAME plan for 4 years. Yes, we were given the option to STAY on our plan and keep our doctors. But only if we agreed to pay 25% MORE for the already inflated premium and have our out-of-pocket deductible also increase by 25%! The "trade-off"? We are now covered for maternity and birth-control….even though I had a full hysterectomy 3 years ago! But THANK GOD I've got that maternity coverage!!!! Said no one. EVER! "ACA, ACA! How do I hate thee? Let me count the ways…."
