Liberal Senator Mark Udall may have avoided a damning vote this past week, when the Keystone XL pipeline amendment was shelved along with the rest of a popular energy bill, but that doesn’t mean his reticence on the issue won’t be a factor when he is voted out of office come November. In two new ad drops this week, we see one praise Rep. Cory Gardner for not being afraid to stand up against special eco-interest to do what is right for Colorado families and Colorado jobs; and, we see the other one attack Udall for playing the part he has perfected: the well-heeled senator for the Big Green special interest.
Udall may feel his best chance at reelection is to do his best imitation of a turtle and hide away, but plenty of ads will ensure Coloradans know what he has been up to these past six years.
