Last night marked the final campaign finance report before the June 24th primary. We imagine each Republican gubernatorial candidate is eager to demonstrate his ability to fundraise in this contentious race.
The last two reports had “money badger” Scott Gessler again at the top of the heap, but this report has former Rep. Bob Beauprez on top for amount raised – even before his loan and the most cash in the bank.
Without Beauprez’s $69,000 loan, the most cash on hand is a near tie with Tancredo ($35,581) just edging out Kopp ($35,491) by about $100.
Here are the stats:
Beauprez
Raised: $47,749
Spent: $189,007
Cash on Hand: $43,637
Loans: $69,000
Gessler

Cash on Hand: $28,796
