Rep. Mike Coffman, running in one of the most competitive races in the country here in Colorado’s Sixth Congressional District, has a top notch team behind him. We’re talking about the female veterans who have his back in this race. One of these women appears in a new ad for Coffman that hits back against candidate for anything Andrew Romanoff’s sleazy smear tactics. Watch here:
From the ad:
“These smears against Mike make me angry. Here’s this guy, Mike Coffman, he served in both Iraq wars. He’s taking on the generals over sexual assault in the military, looking out for women who serve. I’ve worn the uniform and I’d like to thank Mike Coffman for all that he has done.”
It should come as no surprise that women like the one in the ad above are standing proud for Coffman. Coffman fought for legislation that would further protect whistleblowers and sex assault victims. He’s also worked to expand treatment for victims of sexual assault and remove sex assault prosecutions from the chain of command. His work even earned him praise from across the aisle from New York Sen. Kristen Gillibrand:
Thx @RepMikeCoffman for speaking out in favor of removing sexual assault cases from the chain of command: http://t.co/NfCxHiQH9W

Romanoff and the left can hurl half-baked insults at Coffman, but his results in Congress speak far louder than the chattering class.
