Michael BennetHow much cover does U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet need before he announces he’s had every intention all along of voting for President Obama’s bogus deal with Iran?

Former Colorado Sen. Gary Hart is coming to Bennet’s aid, for the second time this week, to hold a press conference and promote the deal and convince voters that it’s okay to lift sanctions and hand Tehran $150 billion in cash, as well as initiate a new flow of weapons to point at Israel.

Earlier this week, Hart signed onto a letter with other former U.S. lawmakers from Colorado, suggesting there was no other alternative.

As it turns out, according to the Associated Press, Bennet’s going to need all the help he can get in explaining his vote for the deal:

President Obama needs just one more Democratic senator to support the deal to ensure a veto-proof bloc in the Senate. That would prevent Congress from overriding the bargain the United States and five other countries made in July to restrain Iran’s nuclear program.

Bennet is up for re-election in 2016. He has already been targeted by television ads urging a no vote.

So if the deal is approved, it’s Bennet’s fault? Got it.
