Paging Marshall Zelinger! We assume that Zelinger is sitting in front of Bennet’s house waiting for the beleaguered Senator to comment on news that 92,000 Coloradans would lose their health insurance. See, as of now, Sen. Bennet has offered no solutions to the mess that Obamacare made of our health insurance here in Colorado. And, he was one of the deciding votes to pass Obamacare shove that legislation down our throats.
In case you’ve forgotten, PeakNation, Bennet told the Grand Junction Sentinel that he recognized the rising insurance costs were a problem, but had no real solutions. Here’s his quote, in case you forgot:
“Fixing the act, frequently referred to as Obamacare, is next to impossible in the politically charged atmosphere in Washington, D.C., in which Democrats refuse to change it at all and Republicans want to toss it wholesale, Bennet said.
“Grand Junction, which was touted as having some of the lowest Medicare costs, also has some of the highest health care costs overall, according to a database study of spending by insurance plans.
“Resolving such issues is no clear task, Bennet said.
“‘I don’t have answers for Grand Junction, but I’m aware of the problem,’ he said.”
Regardless of who you support in the Republican primary, we can all agree that a no-solutions Senator (we’re talking Bennet here) is not the answer.
