Hillary Rodham ClintonWhile Democrats are circling the wagons around Hillary and spinning the FBI investigation into her cavalier disregard for classified information, Republican U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner is bringing up a valid point: Why does she still have security clearance to this information?

Gardner is calling for the revocation of said security clearance, and it’s the right thing to do.

“Today’s announcement from the FBI must propel action to revoke Secretary Clinton’s access to classified information, as well as the security clearances of her senior staff who have proven to be cavalier with sensitive information,” said Gardner. “Secretary Clinton’s reckless use of a private email server was an open invitation to foreign hackers to access highly sensitive information. Therefore, Coloradans and Americans across the country have reason to mistrust Secretary Clinton with classified information, particularly in light of the FBI’s ongoing investigation.”

If she can’t be trusted with that information as Secretary of State, she most assuredly cannot be trusted with that information as president of the United States.
