We told you so.

Last week we said Democratic activists were trying to pressure U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner to hold a town hall meeting so they could stage a protest and make national news like they did last month with U.S. Rep. Mike Coffman.

And that’s exactly what is happening.

CNN reports from Murfreesboro, Tennessee and in Salt Lake City, Utah, regular stops on their coverage tour, that it’s payback time for Republicans.

Murfreesboro, Tennessee (CNN)More than seven years after angry anti-Obamacare town halls erupted across the country, raw emotions are boiling over again — this time, as the Republican Party under President Donald Trump gears up to dismantle Barack Obama’s legacy.

The(y) shouted questions, emotional pleas and raucous protesters of the evening crystalized the GOP’s tough political road ahead as it forges ahead with rolling back Obama’s accomplishments, including the Affordable Care Act.

The media are gleefully reporting that Democrats have taken their cue from the tea party in staging these protests, the only difference is those conservatives were called racists for demanding tax cuts.
The Democrats conducting these dog and pony shows are being hailed as heroes by the media.

Until this circus leaves town, we mere constituents will have to make due communicating with our lawmakers by email, like most of us do anyway. Don’t be discouraged by these tactics, now more than ever does our GOP delegation in Washington need to hear we support them, and the overturning of Obamacare.
