If further proof is needed that Democratic activists are hijacking and disrupting the town hall meetings our elected officials are holding for constituents, one need only look at the comments posted on U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner’s Facebook page.

Garnder held a teletown hall meeting Wednesday, the same event held by Democrats for years that no one ever complained about.

There are few comments about actual issues, but more than 100 posts complaining about the time change of the event.

They complained that it was a set-up, called him a coward, accused him of all kinds of nastiness because the event was moved from 10 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

How dare he do such a thing without consulting everyone individually to make sure it agreed with their schedule.

This is so disrespectful and unacceptable. I had to make arrangements (working in Medicaid policy!) to take my lunch hour early specifically to attend this call and now , because of the time change, I’ll be unable to attend. I don’t care what else is on your schedule today, your constituents come FIRST.

REAL Republicans wouldn’t make a time change like this Senator. You are now a TRUMP REPUBLICAN. Fortunately I have many many friends who are calling to notify each other of the yet again cowardly move.

Just goes to show he really doesn’t care about the people of Colorado. Vote him out.

Seriously irritated- how can you do this the day of? Get a new scheduler or get your own act together. A cynic would assume you did this intentionally.

What no one seemed to ask was why the time change was needed. If they had bothered, they would have learned that the Senate schedule was to blame — members were called in at 10 a.m. to finish the debate and vote on the Ryan Zinke’s nomination to head the Interior Department.

But the National Democratic activist pulling the strings of these protests don’t care about this, because they have no clue how important this post is to Coloradans.

It’s ironic that activists are complaining their time is being wasted, when in reality they are wasting the time Gardner’s real constituents.
