The Republican rollback of President Obama’s midnight regulations has a hidden gem for Coloradans — the sage grouse plan forced on us by the federal government is no longer legal.

Those plans for states were invalidated by the new Congressional Review Act, which requires that Congress has a role in its creation and Congress was never given the chance.

Says the Pacific Legal Foundation:

“Therefore, it cannot be legally enforced and remains vulnerable to congressional disapproval.”
This is good news for private property owners, ranchers, homebuilders, the energy sector, and recreation.

Now all we need is a member of Congress to challenge those grouse plans, and free 173 million acres across 11 states from the grips of the bureaucrats who thought this was a good idea.

We urge PeakNation™ to call their representatives in the House and Senate to make this happen.
