On Saturday, the left organized its base again, this time, in the name of science through the March for Science on Earth Day. A featured speaker was Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper, a former geologist. Unfortunately, Hick was interrupted, ironically, by science-denying fractivists.

Here’s the video, courtesy of Denverite:

You will see that Hick is interrupted by folks carrying signs with messages like, “United for a Frack Free Colorado.”

If the protesters actually wanted to supportĀ science, they would have applauded Hick because, as much as we disagree with him on myriad issues, he’s not bad on fracking. And science has proven the safety of fracking over and over again.

What the interruption of Hick tells us is that March for Science is more about rallying the radical far left than actually supporting science.
