Gov. Hickenlooper doesn’t think that Democrats wasted enough time and money so he wants to call the legislature back for a special session next month.

He wants to spend more money on health care and roads, and he wants more regulations on the oil and gas industry, like a computer self-serve map for ecoterrorists.

He also wants to refund the state’s energy office funding that was killed in the Democratic-controlled House.

We get so irritated when politicians grandstand that more, more, more should have been done to further (insert cause) or our favorite fallback, help the children.

What it sounds like is that Hickenlooper needs another entire legislative session to further his causes.

Well, it just so happens he will get that chance.

In January.

Meanwhile, if there are just one or two remaining items, instead of a laundry list of desires, the legislature might accommodate him.
