It’s no secret that Democratic Gov. John Hickenlooper isn’t exactly known for bold leadership and decisive action. Even his signature agenda was titled, “TBD.” So, it’s no surprise that everyone is waiting and waiting and waiting to hear whether the Governor will call the state legislature back for a special session to allegedly deal with transportation issues. Last weekend, the Governor said he wanted to think about it over the weekend. But, still we wait.
Good thing the state Senate Republican leadership has a sense of humor. In fact, they created a video to underscore the waiting game they are playing. Catch the video here:
Senate President Grantham shouldn’t feel bad. We’ve heard that Senate Democratic leader Lucia Guzman also is waiting to hear from Governor Hickenlooper.
So, Gov, call them maybe?
