Having forgotten that he’s the governor of a state, Hickenlooper says he wants the EPA to usurp a state’s authority in order to put the coal industry out of business — also know as Obama’s so-called clean energy plan.

“Here in Colorado, clean energy is not a partisan issue,” Hickenlooper said in a statement because he’s not here in Colorado, he’s on some sort of trade mission to India.

“Clean energy is an economic engine for our state and for our nation. These are well-paying jobs, most of which cannot be automated or shipped overseas,” Hickenlooper said.

Note that he said “most” of those jobs can’t be shipped overseas.

Perhaps that’s why he’s in India, looking to outsource the call center for solar power energy for when it snows and solar panels can’t even make enough electricity to power a couple of coffee machines.
