U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet’s health care plan proposal called Medicare-X is not, we repeat not a single-payer tax scheme.

We know, because Bennet assures us that it’s not. He also says that under his plan, we can keep our own doctor.

Now where have we heard that before? Oh yeah, when he voted for Obamacare and then we all lost our doctors.

Interestingly, Bennet’s own press release announcing the plan says “Medicare-X would use Medicare’s network of doctors.”

So once again, you would not get to keep your doctor.

Bennet’s bright idea is to expand the over-burdened entitlement program to even more Americans.

He says it will encourage competition, which is a joke because no private company can compete with the government.

It’s hard for us to take his plan seriously. Hopefully, Congress won’t either, because we’d like to keep our doctor.
