U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet is hosting a town hall today. No, not in person, but on Facebook.

It’s okay for Democrats to host “town halls” while not actually being in a town hall or present at all, we’re told by other Democrats.

It’s just not okay for Republicans to do the same. Republicans must be present so liberals can disrupt meetings to trigger negative publicity for the politician, while preventing everyone else from asking questions.

But we digress.

At Bennet’s Facebook “town hall” today at 5:30 p.m. MT, he will take questions so long as it’s about the Republican tax bill and what Republicans are doing or not doing.

Questions must be submitted ahead of time, so Bennet’s staffer can have time to research it and answer the question for him. Or so we suspect.
