After months of campaigning as a moderate guy whom independents and Republicans should admire and vote for, U.S. Rep. Jared Polis has finally made that wild swing back to his leftist home base, and is politicking hard for the gubernatorial nomination through the Democratic Caucus process.
That’s the same process by which Bernie Sanders was nominated for president, before he was robbed of the win by Democratic politicians like U.S. Sen. Michael Bennet who instead handed the victory to Hillary Clinton.
It’s the smart move for Polis, because he can out-liberal the entire lineup of Democratic wannabes and easily walk away with the nomination.
I’ll be participating in the 2018 Democratic Caucuses in the race for governor! To win the election, we need to first make it onto the ballot, and we can’t do that without your help on March 6th! Join us: https://t.co/BOjoEjbD1v #CaucusForJared #COPolitics pic.twitter.com/AYHlNfupSD

So until the March 6 caucus, Polis will be suspending all efforts to appear independent and businesslike, and instead will be focused on retaining the teacher’s union votes and his environmental base.
