We are super proud of the 36 young men and women from Colorado who are representing the U.S. at the Olympics.
Red Gerard of Silverthorne is bringing home the gold for slopestyle snowboarding and Arielle Gold of Steamboat Springs won the bronze for snowboarding.
While we’re waiting to see Vail’s Mikaela Shiffrin shine in the alpine skiing event, here are some other Olympians being honored by U.S. Rep. Scott Tipton.
Huge thanks to @SpecOlympicsCO for stopping by my office today to talk about the importance of the @SpecialOlympics. It was a pleasure speaking to Hanna Atkinson, a talented athlete who has competed in skiing, cycling, swimming, and basketball. #SOHillDay #ChooseToInclude pic.twitter.com/ed0I8fsug1
