Last week, we reported that Sixth Congressional District Democratic candidate Levi Tillemann (Dick) had the chutzpah to record a secret meeting he had with U.S. House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer in which Hoyer clearly said, “get out of the race.” Hoyer and his cabal already had committed to supporting Pelosi favorite Jason Crow, who has yet to move into the district he hopes to represent or did he? We can’t keep track of his whereabouts. Not only did Tillemann (Dick) record the meeting, but he also gave the recording to the media last week.
The recording was amazing. If you missed it, listen here. But this week, it turns out that Hoyer is helping Tillemann (Dick) after all.
After the media fanned the flames of this evil tale, Tillemann (Dick) claims that his campaign got 1,000 new donors, according to NBC News reporter Alex Seitz-Wald:
Levi Tillemann got a 1,000+ new donors after Intercept story dropped, per his finance director (though she wouldn’t reveal $).
That’s a big spike, and includes donors from all over country, many giving Bernie-branded $27.
He needs the money. Trailing DCCC-backed Crow 4-to-1.

Ouch. He’s trailing four-to-one in fundraising? And his only hope is increments of $27, a mark of the Bernie? God help Tillemann (Dick) because goodness knows Hoyer and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee won’t. At least not intentionally.
