Gubernatorial candidate Walker Stapleton and U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner are hitting the road Thursday making stops across the state to encourage Coloradans to cast their ballots before Election Day Nov. 6.

The red wave, get out the vote tour is organized by the state Republican Party, and kicks off in Grand Junction at 9:30 a.m.

Then it’s on to Durango for a 12:15 rally, over to Pueblo at 2:30 p.m., and wrapping up in Greeley at 5 p.m.

Tickets to the events can be reserved online at Eventbrite.

“Stapleton will be speaking to attendees about the importance of the upcoming election and volunteering to help with his fight against Congressman Jared Polis!” said the announcement.

On Nov. 3, Stapleton will also make campaign stops in Fort Collins, Thornton, Lakewood, Highlands Ranch, and Elizabeth.

Meanwhile, Polis will spend the last week of the campaign safely ensconced in the liberal environs of Denver, Aurora, Boulder, and Lakewood with the voters he expects to deliver the state to him on Election Day.
