Should Gov. Hickenlooper be disqualified from running for president because he’s white?

CNN seems to think so, and put the question to Gov. White Boy in a recent interview.

“You know the debate that the Democratic Party is having right now. Is it time to have somebody of color and a woman and somebody younger, or somebody more establishment?”

CNN host Alisyn Camerota apparently forgot the Democratic Party had “somebody of color” who served two terms as president, and in the last election the party selected a female nominee.

The question itself would get any human resources director fired in a heartbeat, yet it seemed perfectly acceptable to Hick that he should be asked such a question, and worse yet, he didn’t know the answer.

“I’m not sure it’s clear what is exactly needed. But I do know there are a lot of strong options, and that list shows the strength of the Democratic Party. They’re people from all walks of life.”

We’re surprised he didn’t go to the Elizabeth Warren line of defense or declare  that he did not identify with white people.

The correct answer, for future reference, is that it does not matter the color, gender or age of a president, it only matters they serve the interests of all Americans.

We are not one nation divided among a subset of colors and parts and pieces, we are human beings.

Democrats have no one to blame but themselves for pursing identity politics to grow their base, rather than promoting an ideology of commerce, national security, law and order, protecting the poor and pursing the American dream.

Now, Democrats think only illegal immigrants are allowed to be dreamers, but only if they’re not white.
