Basking in the glow of his Planned Parenthood supporters at a recent campaign event, Colorado’s U.S. Senator and presidential wannabe Michael Bennet tweeted a brief clip and this statement:
I’m running to fight for women’s health care, just as I did in my very first race in 2010 and every race since. Because healthcare decisions should be made between women and their providers — not the government. pic.twitter.com/3KDxOmt2JM

Women already make health care decisions privately with their doctors across America every day without interference from the government, Mr. Bennet.
We believe the word you meant to use, was abortion.
Please stop substituting the broad term “health care” for the word “abortion.”
Not everyone who seeks health care wants an abortion.
Just because the word “abortion” does not poll well with Americans, does not give you, Mr. Bennet, the right to arbitrarily change it.
Words matter!
